The Wilson Cloud Chamber: Making Invisible Particles Visible
C.T.R. Wilson built the first cloud chamber in 1911 by expanding supersaturated vapor to reveal particle tracks. It discovered the positron, confirmed cosmic rays, and launched modern particle physics.
